福建科學技術出版社，成立于1979年11月，是一家年出書約500種的中等規模的出版社，曾獲得“全國良好出版社”“全國圖書版權輸出先進出版單位”“服務農村服務基層先進單位”等榮譽稱號，2018年被總局批準確立為第二批專業數字內容資源知識服務模式試點單位。具有圖書、電子出版物、網絡出版資質，下設農業編輯室、健康編輯室、中醫藥編輯室、第一綜合編輯室、第二綜合編輯室、第三綜合編輯室6個編輯部門，主要出版理工醫農等各類應用技術讀物、科普知識讀物及學術專著，并在中醫中藥、大眾健康、園藝寵物、室內設計、少兒科普等門類上形成特色與規模。建社40多年來，已出版圖書、電子出版物12000多種，有600余種圖書在國家級、省部級圖書評獎中獲得殊榮，并先后承擔近30項國家級重大出版項目的實施。

       福建科學技術出版社通過版權輸出、實物輸出、出版合作等形式積極發展對外文化交流，先后與50多家境外出版機構建立了良好的合作關系，多年來共輸出版權80多種，引進版權300多種，共有900多種（套）、30多萬冊圖書銷往海外市場，有近10種圖書以英文版形式直銷歐美市場。

      Founded in November, 1979, Fujian Science and Technology Publishing House (FSTPH) is a medium-sized comprehensive press, publishing some 500 titles of books annually about agriculture technology, traditional Chinese & Western medicine, electronics & electrical engineering, architectural ornament, public health protection, and comprehensive popular science in the forms of applied technical readings, references, academic monographs and popular science readings. Since its establishment of 40 years, the FSTPH is generally accepted that it has formed distinctive characteristics in the traditional Chinese medicine, public health, pet & gardening and architectural ornament.
